StandbyU Foundation is a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) so all donations over $2.00 are tax deductible by the Australian Tax Office.
The Shield Charity Program
Through our Shield Charity Program, we provide Shield personal safety alarms for anyone impacted by domestic and family violence or abuse. The StandbyU Shield has been designed to secretly connect those at risk to those who care wherever they are, 24 hours a day by simply pressing a button.

How your support makes a difference
When Carly* first met Joe* it was a whirlwind romance. Deeply in love, the relationship moved very quickly. Within a few months of being together, Joe had proposed, and Carly was pregnant.
It’s only looking back on their long-term relationship that Carly realises how coercive and controlling Joe's behaviours were. "I didn’t realise it was domestic violence, I knew it wasn’t a healthy relationship, but I thought I was at fault all the time."
Round up with Rounda
StandbyU Foundation has partnered with Rounda to help raise funds. Rounda is an app that allows you to round up your card transactions to support our organisation. The funds raised from Rounda will help StandbyU provide StandbyU Shields to children, young people and adults experiencing domestic violence, abuse and isolation, keeping them safe and connected to family, friends and community.
When you register with Rounda, you’ll be asked to create a supporter account and link your Rounda account to the debit or credit card you shop with. Then, every time you Rounda will automatically roundup to the next $1, $2 or $5 amount that you have set. You can set a weekly limit for rounding up donations to fit within your budget. When you shop the amount you’ve nominated to round up will be allocated to StandbyU and deducted from your account.
